On February 20, specialists of Homag GUS, Germany, will begin installation and start-up of equipment for frame housebuilding at the production facilities of LVL-Ugra (Ugra Timber Holding member company) in Nyagan.
According to the Director of LVL-Stroyproekt (Ugra Timber Holding member company engaged in frame housebuilding) Nikolay Gordeev, the installation and start-up will take 40 days. "Besides, the representatives of Homag GUS will conduct personnel training ", - notes
N. Gordeev.
The first frame house of LVL (laminated veneer lumber) will be produced already in early April 2007.
As mentioned earlier, for the frame housebuilding project Ugra Timber Holding attracted a loan from Khanty-Mansyisk Bank in the amount of 121.5 million rubles. The planned output of the mill is 80 thousand square meters of residential spaces per year. The preliminary payback period of the project is approximately four years.
At the present time, the Holding has a number of requests for construction of frame houses in the Sovetsky Region and Nyagan.
Ugra Timber Holding was established in February 2004 upon the initiative of the Government of KhMAR holding 100% shares of the company. The Holding comprises such mills as LVL-Ugra, Ugra Saw Mills, LVL-Stroyproekt and Ugratransservice.
