Packing
Use of modern packing technologies allows “Ugra Saw Mills” to keep high quality of the goods during their storage and transportation.
The following technology is applied for timber packing:
1. After grading, sawn goods are delivered by a discharge conveyor to a separation device for preliminary partitioning. Then, a parting transporter feeds the material to an aligning roller conveyor for alignment at zero line. After that, the material is fed to a chain conveyor to be aligned in lateral position and thus is located in parallel. Then, via a takeoff conveyor, sawn goods are transported to a crosscut machine OUTPUT, where they are trimmed at both sides and become ready for packing.
2. Layers of boards are taken from outfeed grasps of the crosscut machine by a pusher to the packing line. Special grasp is used to put pallets between boards.
3. A ready pack is transported by a roller conveyor to a bundler. A bundled pack goes to drying kilns. Application of drying technology with use of “Vanicek” kilns has allowed the company to increase quality of export sawn goods.
